Kayla has a Master's degree from Simmons University where she studied family medicine and graduated in 2021 with honors. Prior to that, Kayla was a pediatric intensive care nurse at University of Maryland Medical Center. Kayla has a passion for aesthetics and opened RBF in 2023. She has implemented her skill as a bedside nurse in her daily practice by providing meticulous and precise care. Her attention to detail and knowledge of anatomy sets her apart from the rest. Kayla has completed several aesthetic training courses and continues to educate herself through cadaver courses. She is eager to continue learning and perfecting her skill.

"I am a Nurse Practitioner and decided to pursue a career in healthcare. While I like science and medicine, I also love expressing myself through art. I discovered that aesthetics was the perfect field for me. There is order and structure, yet it takes a certain eye to help enhance and build one's facial and aesthetic features. Having hundreds of competitors, what sets myself and RBF apart from the rest is the ability for others to relate. I am just an average looking female who wants to feel good in their own skin. I have been told on multiple occasions that I look unapproachable or mean when in fact, I am neither! After being told time and time again that I have RBF or that I should “fix my face” I decided to embrace my "RBF" opened Really Beautiful Faces, a medical spa specializing in anti-aging and aesthetic services to help all individuals feel confident and beautiful in their own skin. I look forward to creating individualized treatment plans in order to help my patient's obtain their aesthetic goals.
